Air Fills

 

  To obtain a tank fill for scuba, a current Visual Inspection Sticker, a current Hydrostatic Stamp, you must at least have an Open Water Diver certification from a nationally recognized certification agency, which must be presented at time of tank drop off for fill.

 

  According to SCUBA 8 policy, visual inspections and hydrostatic tests expire on the first day of the month for which they are stamped. Visuals are valid for 1 year from the marked date & the hydrostatic test stamp is valid for 5 years.

 

  While we make every attempt to fill your tank to its operating capacity, tank fill rates sometimes vary, and sometimes the tanks get warm.  As a tank cools from the filling process, the pressure inside of the tank will drop and it may no longer be at the pressure to which was indicated when it was originally filled.  Please check your air pressure before you leave the shop.
