Online Course!!!
This class can be taken any time but especially right now, since everyone is working from home and doing online communication, this class is for you.
You will complete the classroom portion, Knowledge reviews, videos, quizzes, and test all on line!!!
Once you are finished, and ready, (and we are able to get back in the water) you will schedule in with a session to to the confined water training and then do the Open water sessions at Blue Hole.
General Overview -- Open Water Diver Course
Your diver certifications begin here!!
You'll begin by reading through your study materials, completing Knowledge Reviews, and watching the Open Water Diver Video. Then you'll meet at the shop one evening for a overview of the dive equipment. Next, you're on to the 2 classroom and pool sessions to learn and practice your new skills. Finally, you'll head out the following weekend to do your four open water dives.
Once certified, you're certified for life! Let your adventures begin!!
This class generally takes 1 evening session and 2 weekends to complete. If you can't do the full class in the the scheduled time frame, we will work with you to reasonably complete your certification in a timely fashion.

Open Water Diver Course Elearning

Once purchased, we will contact you with instructions and a code and you can start your experience right away!!
At that point you will create an account and go through the online class. You will have access to the book, video, and a downloadable eRPDml. You will complete all the knowledge reviews and the test and then you are ready for the water!
Once you are ready (and we are able to get back in the water) you will schedule in with a Pool session to to the confined water training and then do the Open water sessions at Blue Hole.
Don't forget you will need to purchase your personal gear (mask, fins, snorkel, boots). Prior to the first session.
We will need to get together to go over equipment, get you sized, and get you your personal gear and lent gear prior to the pool session. This generally takes about 3 hours and we can work with your schedule or work you into a group.
This will be followed by 2 pool sessions and my need to include a short classroom session to go over things relative to diving in our area more (like altitude) and discuss computers..
Sessions will be on:
Saturday
-- Pool 11: 30 to 5:00 pm (in the water from 12:00 - 4:00)
Sunday
-- Pool 11: 30 to 5:00 pm (in the water from 12:00 - 4:00)
Following Weekend
Saturday
-- Open Water dives (full day at dive site) Generally Santa Rosa, Blue Hole
-- Meet at 08:30 - 8:45 at location
-- Stay overnight
